Despite the fact that "Wall-E" was released late in Indonesia after several months, I was thrilled and elated to attend the very first show of the first day of "Wall-E"'s public screening.

Since other people had already previewed the movie to death, I'll just say that "Wall-E" was the most brilliant animated movie ever made by Pixar! O Pixar, how I worship you guys!

As a "silent" film, the story and characters showed had a lot of heart and soul and I kinda understood what the robots were "saying" with their vocabulary of electronic beeps, whistles and mechanical intonation. Who knew a mechanical word like "Directive" can become an emotional empowering declaration of love and encouragement when placed in the proper context?

The use of live-action human video footage didn't bother me much and served us a warning that complacency will eventually (d)evolved humanity into big obese boneless babies that needs to suckle on straws 24/7.
This movie is both heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time, and I think I definitely want to own this movie on DVD just for the "Making of..." documentaries.
The only negative experience that I had during the movie was overhearing the guy sitting next to me
explaining everything that's going on in "Wall-E" to his girlfriend during the movie.

Goodness, a little thinking can't hurt anyone... Right? In this case, the (d)evolution of humanity into big fat brainwashed consume-whore babies from "Wall-E" seems appropriate.
"Blue is the new red!" - BnL computer, played by Sigourney Weaver.
Still, despite having several major mature themes (protecting the environment, the evils of big corporations, complacency leading to (d)evolution, etc.) playing out within "Wall-E", they're just simply the awesome icing on the cake. The real important theme of the movie was really
love.

The sweet child-like innocent love between WALL-E and EVE was the event that opened humanity's eyes and change the course of human history.
